I am proud of those young adults that were strong enough to walk out in the beginning of Vice President Pence’s speech.
It took a lot of courage to take that kind of stand. They are our future and a future that is willing to make a difference.
Actions speak louder than words and these graduates decided to act.
They did it by silently protesting not by shouting but by turning their back on a man
that is not willing to contribute to a prosperous America.
America that once stood for the land of the free has turned into the land of the oppressed.
These young Americans now that if we are to have a future we must now think about things such as climate change, healthcare, mental health, and education.
We must move past the coal mining and oil drilling into something that is far more lucrative.
We need to now practice recycling, agriculture, and solar power if we want to prosper.
Some people may not agree with me but the first step in healing is sometimes having the courage to stand up for what you believe in and simply walk out.
